Melissa Greenberg, PsyD will lead this consultation group to discuss clinical and practical considerations for expectant therapists (open to birthing and non-birthing persons). Depending on participant needs, we may discuss the following themes, and each session will have time set aside for open discussion and questions.

  • Disclosing to colleagues & patients (considering how and when to share the news)

  • Anticipating reactions & answering questions (discussing a wide range of possible responses to your news, how you might answer questions that people ask you)

  • Countertransference (considering feelings that may come up for you in sharing the news and preparing for leave)

  • Working with sensitive populations (people facing fertility challenges or relationship problems, others who are expecting)

  • Planning for leave & return (considering how long to take, how you communicate your plan for leave, how to make and communicate a plan for your return)

$50/session
Sliding Scale Available
